Deputy Chief Minister III cum Work Minister Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya said JKR is currently identifying reports related to road damage caused by the disaster.

At the same time, JKR would take immediate measures to restore or provide temporary access for roads that have been cut off due to flooding.

“JKR is in the process of identifying complaints and assessing road damage caused by the floods.

Our current priority is to urgently address emergency situations, such as severed routes due to this disaster.

“We will either repair or establish a safe temporary route, ensuring that any roads disrupted by flooding can be reconnected.

“If the damage is extensive, design works will be taken into account and restoration efforts will be carried out accordingly,” he said, after officiating the Putatan District Chap Goh Mei celebration.
